Frequently Asked Dresser Questions
1.
What are the drawer sizes? Side Drawers: 5-1/2"(H) x 17"(D) x 19"-1/2"(L) - Inside dimensions
  End Drawer: 7-1/2"(H) x 12"(W) x 72"(L)
2. Can the drawers be placed on only one side of the bed? Only for a twin. A full, queen, or king size bed must have drawers on both sides of the bed for proper support.
3. What is the underbed dresser made of? All exterior parts are pine or oak (your choice). The drawers are solid wood, except for the bottom which is strong hardboard.
4. How is it finished? You can choose between honey or walnut stain. It can also be ordered ready to finish.
5. Can I use my own mattress set? Yes! You may use the underbed dresser with your own box spring and mattress set, or put your own mattress on our platform. The box spring is fastened to the frame of the underbed dresser with screws.
6. How high will my bed be? A 12-drawer dresser, the platform, and the Perfect Number™ Mattress, would make your bed about 29" high. If a 6-drawer dresser is used, the bed is about 20" high. If you are using your own box spring and mattress, add the thickness of them to the the height of the 6 or 12 drawer dresser. (6-drawer is 9" high     12-drawer is 18" high)
7. Can I add another set of drawers or other accessories such as the platform, side tables, or headboard later? Yes.
8. Can I use my own headboard? Yes, it can be attached to the underbed dresser with our headboard brackets.
9. Can I use my own footboard? No. We have no way to attach a foot board.
