Firmness Settings
The Sleep Number™ inflator is numerically graduated in increments of 5 points. That means only 20 out of 100 sleepers (assuming each sleeper had a different firmness preference) would be able to adjust the mattress precisely to their specific most comfortable firmness, because the firmness settings are only approximate.

The Perfect Number™ inflator, however, is very precise because it is graduated in increments of 1 point. It has 50 individual firmness adjustments (30 more than the Number Bed™), and therefore, it can adjust to 50 individual sleepers. It's far more precise than the Number Bed™. The Prefect Number™ Mattress has 50 settings compared to only 20 settings with the Sleep Number™ Bed.
Memory Functions
This important feature allows you to automatically return to your favorite (most comfortable) firmness setting by simply pressing a button.

The average* Sleep Number™ Bed inflator has no memory function. Consequently, you have to personally reset the mattress firmness to your favorite (most comfortable) firmness setting every time you happen to change the firmness setting.

The Prefect Number™ inflator has two built-in precision memory functions that will automatically, precisely, reset the mattress firmness (independently for each sleeper) back to the pre-selected firmness setting. This is highly recommended, and the most popular feature.

*Note: The memory function is available on Sleep Number™ Mattress set Starting at $3500 (King Size). That's more than twice the price of our Perfect Number™ Mattress. Even at this high price, the Sleep Number™ inflator's memory only resets the mattress firmness in increments of 5 points, so firmness is still only approximate.
The Perfect Number™ Mattress is By Far The Best Dollar Value
